Registration Opens for Saudi Sign Language Interpreter Licensing Examinations

Effective from 19 Oct 2026

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the opening of registration for examinations to obtain a Saudi Sign Language Interpreter licence. Registration targets sign-language translation diploma graduates, special education graduates in the deaf track, teachers of deaf and hard-of-hearing students, and interpreters, subject to requirements including being at least 18 years old and holding a secondary-school certificate or equivalent.
